    The Santa Catalina Monastery Art

    By RomanticHeart | February 20, 2012

In Arequipa Peru, stands the beautiful Santa Catalina priory. The Santa Catalina priory has been closed to the public for quite a long time, but has just opened. Now the main area is a historic art museum. If you get the likelihood, go to the priory, if not for the architecture or for the priory itself, go see the gorgeous art housed there.

The priory is walled in with lots of different areas. It has got a washing and kitchen together with streets and other places which are all beautiful and superb. Solely to see the outside buildings and streets are well worth the visit. Though once you see them you won't feel you have a option except to go in and see all of the rest this superb place has to give.

The art in the priory is typically attractive non secular paintings. They're often done in a South American colonial style with dazzling expression. There are way more than 400 paintings which are principally from Europe and Cuzqueno art schools. The art is a must see at the Santa Catalina monastery.

The priory building was built in the latter 1500s. It is in colonial and mestizo style and made of white volcanic ash and has excellent vaulted ceilings. All of the design is astounding, like the hall formed as a cross. All of the priory is photo deserving and it would be a shame to miss all the beauty.

    Surfing in Peru

It is fairly straightforward to start chatting to the locals in Peru. Most are extremely friendly and straightforward to hit it off with. Much like everywhere else in the world you have to bring up sports. The neighbors in Peru are very pleased with their sports heroes, and usually happy to talk about them. Just ask about Cecilia Tait, Johnny Bello, or any number of others and you will very probably be talking for a bit.

There are several great swimmers in Peru. One of the best swimmers around is Johnny Bello. He was top in all four styles and even went to the Olympics. He has won multiple medals in South American events together with winning others in his time. He is now on multiple swimming committees to help to keep everything in check.
