Holidaymakers who have been to Paris or who have always wanted to visit the city of lights can also have a great time at Disneyland Paris. The park is a very attractive home for Disneyland. Getting to Paris and the Disney resort couldn’t be easier for visitors arriving from the UK and northern Europe The park is just 25km west of the city and there are lots of ways to get there. The Eurostar is definitely the hassle free option as it has direct services to Disneyland Paris. If you’re flying into Orly or Charles de Gaulle you can take a shuttle bus to Paris Disneyland. All buses and trains alight just minutes away from the main entrance to the Park – opposite the Disney village.

As holidaymakers approach the main entrance to the Park they’ll notice that it is dominated by the massive Disney hotel which they must pass through to drop off their luggage and enter the park. Once through the turnstiles the fun and cheery music starts on Main Street USA, a 1900’s American street which leads up to the fairytale castle and entrances to various enchanted lands.

Head straight for the heightened thrills of Discoveryland and avoid the romantic childish charm of Fantasyland as the rides here are not very challenging. People queue for Space Mountain, Space Mountain Mission 2 and the Buzz Lightyear Lazer Blast as these are the best theme park rides in Discoveryland and people want to go on more than once. In Adventureland guests can whizz backwards through Indiana Jones and the Temple of Peril before going through the watery underground caverns of Pirates of the Caribbean.

If you’re brave enough you can try out the Twilight Zone Terror Tower. Also, to avoid the queues head into the smaller Walt Disney Studios Park and try the 5G Aerosmith Rock and Roller Coaster. A great way to think about Disneyland holiday deals is that you’re actually getting two or three theme parks for the price of one.
