People go on holiday to get away from their 9 to 5 and explore somewhere completely different. Most people don’t have the most amazing beaches where they live and that’s why they go somewhere like Latin America to get the experience. Latin America is defined as the Spanish speaking countries of the Americas including Brazil.

When people think of a beach holiday their first thoughts are about relaxing in the sun but there are also many other things you can do while on holiday in these leisure locations. The activities involve sports like surfing and other fun things such as kayaking, scuba diving and many other fun activities.

So the beach can be a lot of fun and below I have outlined some of the beach and most pristine beaches in Latin America.

If Central America sounds like your thing Costa Rica holidays have become very popular and Costa Rica is now the premier destination in Central America. Playa Tamarindo is definitely the best beach in Costa Rica and possibly the whole of Central America. The waves can get upto 12 feet tall as the year draws to a close so you can see why this is such a great place fro surfers to visit.

If you’re an animal lover then aGalapagos holiday could be what you are looking for. The Galapagos Islands have animals that can be seen nowhere else in the world.

If beaches are your focus though then you can’t go wrong with the Placencia in Belize which is an amazing 15 miles long. There is a lot of wildlife to be found in the area also.

On the whole Latin America is a very safe and friendly place however you should be cautious as you would in any other foreign destination. People may like to go overseas home insurancealthough it is not necessary and is entirely up to you.
