Have A Fabulous Barbecue Without Spending A Fortune

    By RomanticHeart | July 24, 2010

I do not mean to seem like a party pooper here however I do need to be honest  – I have mixed-up thoughts regarding Barbecues. Do not be alarmed, the idea of eating tasty BBQ food during a warm summer’s day and getting merrily sloshed with group of close mates sounds fantastic, but unfortunately, drawing from my experience, more regularly than not I’m given low cost nasty sausages with stale buns, washed down with warm beer.

So folks it’s about time we raise the bar and host a BBQ our friends and family will remember for the rest of their lives, who will reminisce about the time  they attended  the “the greatest BBQ that ever was.”

Sorry if I happened to get a tad carried away just then however I do feel strongly regarding this and as such thought I’d better dish out some easy thoughts about how you are able to oragnise the best god-damn BBQ your nearest and dearest have ever been to.

Tip One: Good quality bbq food is essential
You can still acquire inexpensive sausages and burgers which are of a good standard, just be a tad selective as there can be a small distinction between good value and tasteless, so select well. If you’re feeling adventurous you can always make your own tasty burgers and spice to your own preference. make sure there are some tasty fish options available, and a mixed choice of food for ‘the vegetarians‘who are bound to come along to try and ruin your big day.

Tip Two: Not everyone loves beer
it is crazy I know however you have to give your friends something different than a can of Stella. This may appear to be pricey however you are able to be clever to make your beverages to go further. Mixing up some punch, and cocktail mixes in advance is a great extra to your alcohol options plus it will make the booze stretch further saving you some cash.

Tip Three: Ask your friends to make a side dish
Asking friends to make their most loved entree is a fab way of getting additional free grub plus the chances are most guests will create their ‘speciality dish’ which means I would imagine will have put in some extra love and attention whilst creating it, whipping it up, and means you should ideally get some delicious side dishes for free, as well guests will feel a little involved more. getting out your groovy barbecue crockery is always noticed. Having Habitat discount codes will be a good way to save some money. for your garden.

Tip Four: Music  will make or break a party
Try to put some thought into your music choices so that you are not stuck for inspiration at the time also don’t be a control freak, let other guests to stick their iPods on on as well (obviously some control will be required if you have odd friends

Tip five: Some of your pals will be dieting
It is a very well known fact that a few of your family & friends will be on a diet so even if the thought of having a low fat barbecue turns your stomach you must try to remember you’re hosting the greatest god damn BBQ your pals have ever {attended, been to} and that means catering for everyone. Adding some low fat additions to your menu is actually easy-peasy, just get a batch of roasted pepper skewers, some barbecued chicken and create  a few tasty salads that will go down a very well! There are many additional extras which are good for your health and tasty too such as gherkins, beetroot, and olives.

The rest though is down to you and your amazing hosting skills. Also ensure you have some  good quality bbq equipment.
