The 3 most popular drinks on holiday!
By RomanticHeart | December 11, 2009
There is much debate about which drinks are the most popular in the world. Beer is by far the biggest selling alcoholic drink the world, no doubt about it, it’s not wine! So now that I have cleared up that the Beer is the king of all the alcoholic drinks, why don’t we all just sit down and look at what the popular drinks are in different countries, I have picked some randoms. So let’s start somewhere random then move onto some larger places:
Cuba is the place of cocktails. The most popular tipple is this somewhat unique country, is called the Cuba Libre. Cuba Libre, this is a very easy and quick drink to make up, with only three ingredients, mainly Rum and coke, with a slice of lime. This drink may be a simple one, but everyone seems to like it. Like the Cosmopolitan, the Mojito is also a great favourite for tourists.
Egypt, this is our next stop. Egypt is obviously much larger than Cuba, and many more holiday makers head here. Stella, this is Egypt’s biggest beer. Now I know what you’re thinking, and no it’s not the Artois version. This beer does have a decent 4.5%abv which is quite high for a gentle tasting beer. Heineken brought this drink and it’s brewery in about 2002.
Now we have America, the biggest of the lot. Well what do you think it is? This may be a product made by the Budweiser people, but it isn’t their main drink. Its Budweiser light. This is the alcoholic drink that is great for one and only one reason, that it doesn’t get you drunk very quickly. In the United States, Bud is the second biggest seller, but Bud Light is the main money spinner.
So are you seeking for Egypt holidays, Cuba holidays or how about something a little more romantic like Maldives holidays, where you can build your own maybe more odd cocktail?
