The first place we are going is in Oman
Al Jissah Resort and Spa is the best place to take a top class holiday in Oman. It is made up of the Exclusive Al Husn rated at 6 stars [The Castle], Al Bandar [The Town] rated at 5 star, and Al Waha [The Oasis] which is 4 star, and very much for the family holiday package.This Shangri-La Hotel and Resort has a superb location in over 120 acres with mountains behind, and a private golden sand beach in front with the turquoise blue water of the Gulf of Oman to complete the pretty picture.
This is a big Resort at Al Jissah, then in addition the exclusive Al Husn with 180 suites and guestrooms, Al Bandar with 198 rooms and the Al Waha with 302 rooms.There are a good range of things to see and do, 6 main restaurants, 7 casual cafes, 3 pool bars, a nightclub and 2 bars providing sumptuous local and international cuisine to suit all tastes.
Curtain Bluff is consistently close to the top of all inclusive resorts in the world. To be found right on the southern tip of Antigua on its own peninsula in 20 acres of lush tropical gardens. Encircled by a coral reef which protects its 2 beaches, there are 72 beautifully decorated very spacious rooms and guest apartments. It is pretty much old colonial style, very comfortable, if a touch faded round the edges, but this is undeniably part of the laid back charm of the place.There are no radios or TV’s in the bedrooms and suites so this is a real escape. Children actually are welcome all year apart from February.
Curtain Bluff is justly proud of its good reputation for food, and first class service, and you have problems controlling your waistline during your holiday. Virtually everything about Curtain Bluff is remarkably good, from the Spa, to the tennis, the sea, and the beaches. Most of all is the the place is just so friendly which makes it stand out from the bunch of other more modern high-end resorts in Antigua. This is a mix of nice and extraordinarily efficient members of staff, and the type of people that Curtain Bluff attracts.
Taveuni Island Resort and Spa is about a ninety minute flight north east from Nadi in Fiji the arrival point for international flights, and then a short car journey. This volcanic island is nearly unique in that it lies where one side of the road is Tuesday and the other side is Wednesday. The island is absolutely lovely, called the garden island of Fiji, and the resort gets great reports from everybody who stays there. Every guest agrees this is the outstanding location, attractive grounds, amazing staff, and wonderful food. The food comes from the farm owned by the resort.
The accommodation bures are spacious and sumptuous, all with raised sea views, and there is plenty to do especially the top class soft coral reef to dive.
